今回のWeekly Specialはお客様からのお問い合わせのありました「にくじゃが」Lunch Setです。
「にくじゃが」といえば日本では代表的な家庭料理で、特に”お袋の味”と慕われるものですが、
アメリカ人の方々には馴染みのないものです。
元々Weekly Specialはたみこさんの、日本料理を一人でも多くのアメリカ人の方々に知っていただきたい、 紹介したいという趣旨から始まりました。今回一人のアメリカ人のお客様のご要望により、「にくじゃが」をWeekly Specialとして
皆様に味わっていただける機会を持つことができ、Ｍｕｒａｃｃｉ’ｓとしても光栄です。
大きく切ったじゃがいも、にんじん、そして日本で使うような薄切り牛肉に、忘れてはならない重要な素材・糸こんにゃく（しらたき）の 入ったＭｕｒａｃｃｉ’ｓの”お袋の味”「にくじゃが」をお試しくださいませ☆
Muracci's Weekly Special of this week is "Niku-Jaga" which was requested from one of our customers.
In general, "Niku-Jaga" is one of popular home cooking(Mom's cooking) in Japan, yet it is not well known in the U.S.
Originally, the concept of this Weekly Special is the wish of Tamiko-san who wants to introduce various Japanese food
to the people in the U.S. Muracci's is happy that we had this opportunity to introduce this food as Weekly Special.
The ingredients are sliced beef, potato, carrots, onions, strong beans, Yam Noodle and the taste is similar to Gyu-don.
Yam Noodle is called "Ito-Konnyaku/Shirataki" in Japanese and this could be the good accent for "Niku-Jaga" which
I love it.
